About me

My names Logan Cayde McDonnell. I'm a fine artist currently residing in north Atlanta. I work predominantly with oil paints at the moment but I am versed with many different mediums including but not limited to: Screenprinting, airbrush, acrylic, graphite, charcoal, pastel, ink, digital works, hand drawn animation and much more.

I create not because it's what I think will make money, but because I simply have no other reason to be here on this earth. When I wake up every morning my daily call is to create. I try and live by this, and I'm truly unsatisfied in any given day until I take the time to sit down and pull my own ideas out of thin air.

To describe my work I would say I am deeply inspired by all things that transcend around me. On the note that I predominantly work with oils at this point, I want to acknowledge how refined and seemingly sophisticated the medium is. That helps me play with dissonance, which is one of the biggest things I strive for whether it be for my clothing, music, paintings etc. I'm on a path to combine baroque suave aesthetics with the brash noise of pop art. If I had to describe my work with one word it would be "Visceral," and at the same time "Delicious." The idea of dissonance let's me play around with a multitude of different concepts and yet still have an equal balance that levels itself out. I'm dynamic, and I hope that my work reflects that.

If you want to support me or my work, you can follow the link to my instagram, but being here reading this on my site is more than enough to back up me and my work. It means a lot to me, and it  might just be a 30 second glance on your end of things but the fact that you're even reading this means the world to me. Thank you for your endless support.
