"This was a fun little two day project, yesterday I did nothing but work on this piece, really pleased with the outcome. It’s on a wood panel, though I didn’t prime it. Some points I really wish I had as the oils get absorbed into the wood as they slowly dry, scared that I’m going to have to reapply some layers before varnishing. Regardless I think this turned out great. It’s a scene from taxi driver, specifically where Travis bickle frees Iris from Sports apartment. Thinking of doing some more movie paintings on panels, definitely gonna do a kill bill piece this week."
